Award Information:

The IUVA Young Professionals (YP) committee is pleased to be able to offer 2 student travel awards for the upcoming conference in Lisbon, Portugal for the IUVA World Congress (September 7 - 10, 2025). Our goal is to support the professional development of our student members and build valuable connections between YPs in the IUVA community. The awards will amount to $3,000 each for travel expenses + free registration to the conference. Recipients will be recognized at the IUVA World Congress.

Eligibility:

• Any graduate student enrolled in an accredited university/college science, technology, engineering, or mathematics program.
• A current member of the IUVA in good standing.

Application requirements:

• 1000 – 1200 word essay (12 point font, double spaced)
• Topic: Where are you now in the UV industry and where do you hope to go in the UV industry in the future?
• Call out focus of studies, research interests and/or recent publications

Standardized scholarship application which asks for:

• Name
• Permanent Mailing Address
• Institution
• Area of Study (Area of Focus, Major, etc)
• Years in UV field
